How is a 1:1 donation match helpful to fundraising? Matching grant campaigns allow donors who participate the opportunity to “double their impact” by contributing during a donation match campaign. The combination of maximizing impact and working within a deadline creates excitement and urgency - and makes fundraising much more fun!
According to research from Double the Donation, 84% of donors are more likely to give if their contributions get matched, and one in three say they’d make a larger donation if a match were available.
Who can commit to a donation match? Any individual or business is allowed to commit to a donation match.
Why would I use my business? Aside from end of year tax deductions (we are a registered 501c3), partnering with local non-profits for social media fundraising campaigns can be great for expanding your social media reach and shows your business is invested in their community.
What happens if I submit this form? We will confirm your privacy requests first, then run an online campaign to promote your donation match. Ideally this would include: a collaborative post via Instagram / Facebook, an email to our subscribers, and continued countdowns to the donation match end via our social media “stories”.
All donation matches between now and April 3, 2025 will be included in our NWA Gives campaign!
